The Pikal is a combative blade. Our double edged design is extremely effective in self defence applications. The blade has been designed to be used in simple gross motor movements.
The Pikal is an age old blade design. The word “Pikal” comes from a Pilipino dialect and directly translates in English, “To rip”. Our Pikal uses a Steep Saber grinds, giving the blade added strength. All handle scales are mechanically fitted with 3 Stainless Steel rivets that are flared with a 3 tonne arbour press.

Caring for your blade
– Always use knives for their intended purpose.
– Avoid using knives to pry or dig at items.
– For Wooden Handles: Use standard wood polish
Rust Prevention
– Oil blade with any knife or gun oil.
– If in a leather sheath, DO NOT store in sheath for a lengthy period of time.
– Do not leave exposed to direct heat or sunlight for a lengthy period of time.
– Do not wash blades in the dishwasher
– After use, wash and dry before putting your knife back into its sheath. Apply oil before storing for a long period of time.
– Our recommendation is that fluid film be used to oil our blades.
