The J23 knife was created to honour the Battle of Spioenkop, fought on January 23, 1900, between the Boers and the British. Many soldiers lost their lives in this conflict, and the J23 pays tribute to their bravery. Inspired by knives commonly carried during the battle—such as the Scottish Sgian-dubh and the German Wehrmacht—the J23 is a modern, tactical reinterpretation. Designed for both utility applications and self-defense, the knife blends historical influence with contemporary functionality. Its name, J23, commemorates the date the battle began.

Caring for your blade
– Always use knives for their intended purpose.
– Avoid using knives to pry or dig at items.
– For Wooden Handles: Use standard wood polish
Rust Prevention
– Oil blade with any knife or gun oil.
– If in a leather sheath, DO NOT store in sheath for a lengthy period of time.
– Do not leave exposed to direct heat or sunlight for a lengthy period of time.
– Do not wash blades in the dishwasher
– After use, wash and dry before putting your knife back into its sheath. Apply oil before storing for a long period of time.
– Our recommendation is that fluid film be used to oil our blades.
